Nanotechnology

Development of Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Production

Due to their unique characteristics, nanomaterials are being explored in a variety of fields for their applications. The research group has been developing nanomatearils for a number of applications including sorbents, catalysts, and membranes, which are increasingly used as the tools for clean energy productions.

Development of Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Production

Development of New Solid CO2 Sorbents

Nanostructured sorbents are being developed for pre-combustion and post-combustion CO2 separations. The objective of the research is to find regenerable, high-capacity, long-life, and low-cost CO2 sorbents with characteristics of nanomaterials.
