Professional Societies

The Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Supports three professional societies which students can participate in:

-American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE)
-American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)
-Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)
Accreditation

The Chemical Engineering curriculum at the University of Wyoming is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Graduate work may be completed for the M.S. or Ph.D. degree in chemical or petroleum engineering.
