Laura Baxter, is a new Major Giving Officer with the UW Foundation assigned to the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Gifts to the College reach students every day through scholarships, technology, facilities, and faculty support. Your contribution is vital to the future of Wyoming's university. As a Major Giving Officer, Laura will be your contact for questions, information, and charitable giving.
Laura is from Portland, Oregon, and moved to Wyoming to be closer to family. Her undergraduate degree is in environmental science, and she has a law degree from the University of Oregon. She comes to the College after serving as major gift manager at UW's Wyoming Public Radio, she also worked 18 years at CH2M Hill (an international engineering firm) and six years at the Trust for Public Land (a national land conservation firm).
