UWYO College of Engineering and Applied Science Accreditation


The Engineering Accreditation Commission and the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology have accredited the following undergraduate programs in the College:

  • Architectural Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

The undergraduate program in Petroleum Engineering will seek accreditation after it graduates it first class in May 2008. Program options satisfy the accreditation requirements of their parent programs.

Graduation from an accredited program is a necessary step to becoming a Registered Professional Engineer.
