University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Applied Science Hosts "Meet the Dean" ReceptionJanuary 24, 2008 - Please join the University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Applied Science at a "Meet the Dean" reception at the National Western Stock Show on Saturday January 26, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the National Western Club, (Hall of Education Building) National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt St., Denver, CO 80216. The National Western Stock Show will recognize attendees from the great State of Wyoming for Wyoming Day at the rodeo event that evening. No RSVP is necessary for the reception. Dean Robert Ettema is originally from New Zealand and after earning undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees from the University of Auckland, Ettema joined the University of Iowa. For the past eight years he served as the civil engineering department head, while also serving a term as editor of the American Society of Civil Engineer's Journal of Hydraulic Engineering. He also served as acting and associate director of the renowned Iowa Institute of Hydraulic Research. Ettema began his tenure as Dean at UW in August of 2007. We hope you will join us in welcoming the dean at the reception on January 26.
