Tau Beta Pi Outstanding Members

June 25. 2009 -Tau Beta Pi Outstanding Sophomore
Cami Andrie came to the University of Wyoming in fall 2007, as a graduate of Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming. She is currently in her sophomore year of her chemical engineering degree. She is active in many clubs on campus as well as various intramural sports. She has worked as a general chemistry teacher’s assistant, as well as an academic tutor for the athletes, tutoring math and chemistry. Cami is currently exploring the possibility of obtaining a masters degree in chemical engineering or pursuing a double major in chemistry.

Bailey Brown is an architectural engineering major and a 2006, graduate from Burns High School, Wyoming. In the summer of 2008, she was a camp advisor for both the Middle School Girls Camp and the Engineering Summer Program. She has also served as an Orientation to Engineering Peer Assistant for the past two fall semesters. Bailey recently finished research on solar heating of The Dover Sun House, 1949, under the direction of Assistant Professor Anthony Denzer, of the UW Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering. She co-founded the UW Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter and has been both a team leader and volunteer for the UW Volunteers in Action day. Bailey currently interns with Gertsch/Baker & Associates, a local design and engineering firm. Upon graduation, her plans may include pursuing a master’s degree at UW or entering into the peace corps. Bailey enjoys practicing yoga, studying photography, and backpacking with her grandfather.
